Signing up for a child
Parents and legal guardians can keep a profile for a child, or for several children, under their own account.
Who can sign up for a child
A parent or legal guardian
You hold the account, accept the agreements and sign on the child's behalf.
Several children, one account
Add a profile for each child and switch between them from the top of the page. Each profile has its own answers, checklist and history.
When a child turns 18
1
The profile pauses
In the month a child turns 18, their profile pauses and we email the guardian.
2
Hand it over, or delete it
The guardian can invite the young adult to take the profile over at their own email address, where they accept the agreements themselves. Or the guardian can delete it.
3
If nothing happens
We send a reminder. After 60 days without a handover, the profile moves into the normal 30-day deletion window.
Signing up never enrolls a child in a study. Taking part is always a separate decision, made with the study team and its own consent process for children.
Start a profile for your child
Choose “My child” on the first question. It takes about three minutes.
